The CX2201 features an 8" bass-midrange system with a symmetrical field magnet and dual rear suspensions, providing linearity and low distortion. The 28mm dome tweeter is ferrofluid cooled and utilizes a neodymium magnet for enhanced efficiency and power handling. This coaxial driver includes an integral crossover, simplifying system integration and ensuring seamless audio performance. The tweeter assembly is field replaceable, offering ease of maintenance.
Operating within a frequency range of 40 to 20,000 Hz, the CX2201 has a sensitivity of 90 dB/W/m and a power handling capacity of 150 watts. It is available in 4, 8, or 16 ohm versions, providing versatility for different audio system requirements.
