The Tamron 50-400mm F4.5-6.3 DI III VXD Nikon Z-mountphotographic lens is the first model in a new class of ultra-telezoom lenses for mirrorless camera systems with a full-frame sensor. With its 8x zoom, it covers an exceptionally versatile range of focal lengths: from the standard 50mm lens with a relatively wide angle of view and normal depth to the 400mm ultra-tele, whose narrower image section allows for a significantly enlarged image. The Tamron 50-400mm is equally suitable for portrait, wildlife and sports photography. The generous use of special optical lenses, including two XLD (eXtra Low Dispersion) and three LD (Low Dispersion) elements, a GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) lens and a hybrid sphere, ensures high image quality over the entire focal length range.

In addition, the Tamron 50-400mm features an advanced VXD autofocus which is based on a particularly responsive linear motor, ensuring exact focusing from near and distant objects. The lens also features Tamrons VC image stabiliser, which provides sharp photos and stable video for long telephoto shots that are particularly susceptible to shake. Even at low light speeds and longer shutter speeds, the image stabiliser helps you take successful images.
