The FaitalPRO HF146 is a 1.4" exit high-frequency driver that balances high sensitivity, extended frequency response, and flexible power handling options. Designed for two- and three-way professional audio systems, the HF146 uses a 65 mm (2.56 in) aluminum voice coil on a Kapton former, capable of handling 80 W AES above 0.9 kHz or 40 W AES above 0.65 kHz. Peak handling doubles at both thresholds, offering up to 160 W and 80 W respectively.
With a frequency range from 700 Hz to 18 kHz and a high 109 dB sensitivity, the HF146 performs exceptionally in vocal-critical and high-SPL applications. Its ketone polymer dome diaphragm and annular phase plug provide a coherent and dynamic HF response. The 29° conical exit angle ensures broad dispersion when used with standard 1.4" flares like the FaitalPRO LTH142. Ideal for use in compact or mid-sized horn-loaded enclosures where power-to-weight efficiency is key.
