The Sennheiser EW-DP ME2 SET (Q1-6) SKM-S UHF digital wireless microphone system is a professional full digital audio solution for video applications, operating in the UHF Q16 (470.2526 MHz) band. The system includes a single-channel portable EWDP EK receiver for camera mounting (with magnetic cheese plate and cold-shoe system), an EWD SK bodypack transmitter with an ME 2 omnidirectional lavalier microphone, a BA 70 rechargeable battery, AA batteries, and cables. The system offers ultra-low latency of 1.9 ms and an impressive dynamic range of 134 dB, ensuring crystal-clear audio transmission without distortion. The RF bandwidth reaches up to 56 MHz, with 2,240 selectable frequencies, ensuring ample flexibility in congested RF environments.
The advanced features of the Sennheiser EW-DP ME2 SET (Q1-6) SKM-S UHF digital wireless microphone system include synchronisation and control via Bluetooth LE using the Smart Assist app (iOS/Android), an intuitive front OLED display and Smart Notifications for diagnostics and operational assistance (e.g. clipping warnings, low battery, frequency busy). Intelligent battery management provides up to 12 hours of battery life on the transmitter (with BA 70) and approximately 7 hours on the receiver, which can also be powered via USBC (receiver only). The system integrates intelligent diversity switching and automatic frequency scanning, ensuring robust reception even in complex RF environments. Audio response frequency covers 20 Hz20 kHz, with very low distortion (THD-60 dB at 1 kHz @ 3 dBfs) and equivalent noise of only 32 dB.
