The Viltrox AF 20mm F2.8 Full-frame with Sony E-mountphotographic lens is a compact and lightweight full-frame wide-angle lens ideal for landscapes, architecture and astrophotography. A maximum aperture of f/2.8 enables good depth-of-field control and smooth bokeh rendition thanks to the 7-blade diaphragm. Autofocus, operated by a stepping motor (STM), is fast and quiet, compatible with the face and eye detection systems of Sony cameras.
The minimum focusing distance is 19 cm, with a maximum magnification of 0.17x, allowing -up shots with a pleasing bokeh effect. The metal body lends ruggedness, while the lack of sealing against dust and moisture can be a limitation in harsh environments. The lens supports firmware upgrades via USB-C port.
