The round faceplate of the 1TD1-8 fits the cutouts for most classic dome tweeters, while its shape reduces diffraction, preserving excellent on-axis response and detail. The 1" voice coil handles plenty of power, and the ferrite magnet assembly provides plenty of force for the lightweight dome, for dynamic reproduction. The 8-ohm impedance makes it compatible with most existing crossovers.
