The VM753E from Volt Loudspeakers is an 8 ohm version of their renowned 3" (75mm) diameter dome midrange unit, loaded with a short front-mounted horn. This design allows for high excursions at the lower end of its operating range, enhancing the overall audio performance. The dome and surround are doped for smooth response and consistency, while the second, rear surround ensures coil stability. The driver is built with an FEA-designed 155mm ceramic magnet system, which provides high efficiency and is mounted on a solid, machined aluminum chassis. The unit is rear-mounted using M5 threaded inserts and connects via 6.4mm (0.25") spade terminals for secure and flexible installation options.
