The cabinets are composed of pre-cut and drilled MDF, which accounts for the hefty weight of the enclosures. All the pieces are smooth and cut to very accurate dimensions and all the mounting holes for the speakers, the crossover, and the speaker terminal are pre-cut and drilled.
