The FW222 8" aluminum cone woofer from Fountek is perfect for use high performance 2 and 3-way designs. A lightweight aluminum cone gives the FW222 excellent transient response for remarkably accurate low frequencies with life-like midrange. The cast aluminum frame has ample venting under the spider which helps keep the voice coil cool while lowering power compression to ensure predictable performance even when driven hard during long listening sessions. Thanks to an Xmax of 7 mm you can expect powerful bass output with low distortion. In addition, the FW222 includes an integrated sculpted grill that protects the cone while giving it a stylish and unique look.
